If you’re a parent, be on guard for the latest “woke” trend affecting your children. I recently received a call from a Barrington mom who was shocked by an email she received from the Barrington School Superintendent.  The subject line read “Must-Read Books for Elementary Students that Give Visibility to LGBTQ+ Characters and History.” The email included book lists for both elementary students and teenagers.
