Distributed SQL database wagered on for scalability boost, GDPR

The procession of databases seems to have subsided, but there are more to come. CockroachDB is a distributed SQL database seeking to solve problems of elasticity and resiliency. Online gambling house Kindred is looking to the system to handle bets globally, with an eye on GDPR compliance, as well.
