When I sat in front of Ndubaayo’s house, several of her neighbors join us, and I lean forward on this tipsy white plastic chair to hear her tell her story: How she walked 8 hours a day — with no shoes — five days a week. 26 miles a day. A marathon to get more of God. Five days a week — for four years.
